Plectron tones do not use a grouping arrangement like many other paging standards, you basically select which tones you want to use without needing to stay within predetermined patterns.

Listen to a Plectron “Slow Duotone” page begin transmitted. The tone frequencies are 1169 Hz & 454.6 Hz with a timing of 3 sec / .75 sec.
Listen to a Plectron “Fast Duotone” page begin transmitted. The tone frequencies are 672 Hz & 1287 Hz with a timing of .75 sec / .25 sec.
